This policy explains how Practical Ambition (Simon Bird) handles personal information collected through this website.
What I collect
When you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address and message, plus your company and phone number if you choose to provide them. The page you submitted from and the time of submission are also recorded.
How I use it
Information submitted through the contact form may be used to:
- respond to your enquiry
- understand whether Practical Ambition may be able to help
- communicate with you about a potential or existing business relationship
Enquiries are not added to a marketing database or newsletter. I do not sell your information.
How it is processed
Your enquiry is sent by email to my business mailbox using a secure, authenticated email delivery service. Basic technical information, such as your IP address, may be processed briefly to protect the form against spam and abuse.
Lawful basis
Legitimate interests in responding to enquiries you have chosen to send, under UK GDPR.
Retention
Contact enquiry information may be retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless it needs to be retained for longer because of an ongoing business relationship, legal obligation or legitimate business requirement.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or object to its use. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
